Farmers' Market at Lakewood Ranch: Your Sunday Guide to Waterside Place

Looking for one of the best things to do in Lakewood Ranch on Sunday morning? Start at Waterside Place.
The Farmers' Market at Lakewood Ranch happens every Sunday, year-round, bringing more than 100 local vendors to the waterfront at Waterside Place.
And this isn't just a place to buy tomatoes.
When and Where Is the Lakewood Ranch Farmers' Market?
Every Sunday | 10 AM–2 PMWaterside Place1560/1561 Lakefront Drive, Lakewood Ranch, FL 34240

What Can You Find?
Think fresh produce, flowers, local honey, breads and baked goods, meats, spices, prepared foods, coffee, pet products, jewelry, gifts and locally made products.
There is also live music and Kids' Zone programming, so this is much more of a Sunday outing than a grocery run.
October's music schedule includes Carmen Forte on October 4, Mylon Shamble on October 11, Jesse Daniels on October 18 and Bobby James Music on October 25. Lakewood Ranch
Make It a Lakewood Ranch Sunday
This is actually one of my favorite recommendations for people who are considering moving here.
Go to the market.
Grab coffee.
Walk along Kingfisher Lake.
Explore Waterside Place.
Stay for lunch.
Watch who is walking around, what people are doing and how the area feels when it isn't part of a scheduled home tour.
That's when you start understanding the difference between buying a house in Lakewood Ranch and actually living in Lakewood Ranch.
Why Waterside Matters When Choosing a Home
If being able to walk, bike or take a quick golf-cart ride to restaurants, events and waterfront activities matters to you, proximity to Waterside can become a major part of your home search.
If you would rather have golf, larger lots, a different school zone, 55+ amenities or another lifestyle entirely, there may be a completely different Lakewood Ranch village that makes more sense.
That's why I always say Lakewood Ranch isn't one neighborhood.
The house matters.
But so does everything around it.
If you're considering moving to Lakewood Ranch, Sarasota or the surrounding area, I'd love to help you find the part of the Ranch that fits your life.
